BIM central - London

The HQ for operations during the BLL 2009 virtual event will be located in a 2000 square foot high-tech conference facility in London. From here the organisers will manage the event, oversee the collaboration and control the PR. The room will be large enough to hold the organisers plus 50 people from two or three teams and be powerfully equipped with internet connections and video conferencing equipment. Images and video feed from teams around the globe will be projected onto the walls and add to the Bll 'buzz'.

international BIM centres

Although Bll is in part a virtual event, many of the teams will locate together in their own 'BIM' centres around the globe. Wherever possible these will be connected to BIM Central London by video conferencing. This will add to the sense of 'collaborative' community and to allow short interviews to be recorded for a documentary.
